HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!! For all of my Christmas baking I decided it would be fun to make a 1940's inspired vintage apron, and oh my goodness I am so happy with how it turned out!
In this vlog I show you how I picked by fabric and pattern, and then how I cut out, stitched, and made this apron at home.
Do you have a favorite Holiday Recipe? I would love to hear about it! Let's all all share our favorite recipes in the comment section! We can make our own recipe book!
I'll go first. Here is the recipe that my family always makes for Christmas and eats on Christmas Morning every year... (except for the Great Pumpkin Bread incident of 2019 from which I have not recovered)… But anyhow, without further ado, the recipe:
Great-Great-Aunt Marie's (Yes, I am named after her) Pumpkin Bread:
3 1/2 Cups white sugar
3 Cups mashed pumpkin
1 Cup Wesson Oil
2 Cups Nuts or Raisons
Mix the above ingredients together
5 Cups shifted flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp baking soda
Sift together above ingredients and add to 1st mixture
Line three loaf pans with wax paper (or seven small pans)
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 70 min for large pans or for 50 min if using small pans
Remove wax paper before the bread is cool
Enjoy!
I would not have made this cute apron if Annabelle of Horizen Cosplay had not suggested it. So go check out Annablle's channel here: / horizencosplay
