It's a really fantastic job 😮 and the result is really great. The test on the bottle at the end is conclusive. It is so beautiful 😍 and well made that you would think it is a period sword 👍

Thank you very much, Pascal. I will hang it on my bedroom wall now that it's finished. Then I can lie in bed and admire it...

Hello, Brent! Thank you for your kind words - I love making things from scrap. I like the way the water bottle stood there for a moment, gushing water, then fell off the stool. I couldn't have made it do that even if I had planned it!

Wow ! That's fantastic craftsmanship. I loved the petrol based woodstain - that worked extremely well and looked like an official product. The sword itself looked superb at the end, I'd never have known it was homemade. Great video and very impressive...👍🏻👍🏻.

Thank you, my dear chap - I have swords from several other historical periods in mind, but I think I'll focus on RC for a while before I make another sword. This is my fifth...

Very impressive Del as ever. I'm glad I'm not on the receiving end of that point mate. Loving the home brewed wood stain dude. All the best and stay safe my friend.

Thank you, Rob! The "Genuine Honda" wood stain does seem to have worked very well!

Amazing. I was surprised when it pierced through the water bottle. Nice!

Excellent work Del. An impressive sword. What sort've welder do you use? I'm sure the olive tin manufacturer will be happy for the feedback. Nice bit of petrol harvesting too! 👍

Hello! It's an old 1970s arc welder. 80% through the welding on of the side bars the glass fell out of my welding screen. I carried on, holding one hand over my eyes. My nose later turned bright red and the skin peeled off from the tip of it, much to my wife's amusement. Harvesting petrol from a wild motorbike can be very satisfying.

Oh, and by the way - I always swear by olive tin steel for wrapping around holed car exhaust pipes. They have just the right thickness; thick enough to last a good couple of months, but thin enough to allow goow wrapping action in a confined space. Perhaps I shouldn't get on my local olive tin manufacturer's case after all...
