The thing about this Lamp is different from other videos I have seen is, it is a lot simple and easy to make. People try to do a lot of hunky funky stuff to make a lamp. This is so minimal, beautiful and fits the requirement. Nice job.

I've only ever done bent ply on a larger scale so there were vacuum bags involved and bending poplar but this jig is kind of amazing for small scale! I MUST try it! I favortied this video so I can come back to it! Thanks for showing us!

Very nice, I made a similar table lamp from a wooden pillar with 2 angled slots cut vertically into the turned wooden pillar, the very thin plywood (0.75mm birch plywood] was glued into the slots, forming a curved shape similar to yours, the light fixture was fitted to the pillar. Mine improved when I used a strip light which lit mine more evenly, the thinn plywood is really cool, the light shines a dull red from the adhesive in the plywood.

Nice project! When you are screwing metal to wood, sheet metal screws will tighten flush with the metal instead of dimpling it like the tapered heads of wood screws do.
