This is all the steps I took to create the new battery box from scratch and I hope it helps someone.

Well thought out project. Those 'step drills' are handy tools for these jobs. 👍

@@SailingWithDave I use mine in the pillar drill at very low speed and cooling oil and they cope with 2 mm steel okay. 😁
