In today’s episode of ‘I need an excuse to not go outside on my days off because Canadian springtime is insane’ I made a bustle pad from 1900-1905. These simple little tie on pillow type accessories helped Edwardian women achieve the ideal silhouette proportions of the era, and they also helped to keep the back of the skirts from drooping down, since all the pleating in the back could get quite heavy.
This is also my first video recorded with my new microphone, so if there’s any audio issues, I blame it on a learning curve. Of course, anything I might hear could just be me being nit-picky because I've watched this video a million times and you don’t actually notice anything at all.
