thanks for the excellent lectio. Budapest gambit with Faraj variation is one of the most difficult opening to learn as black. I had a few fast wins but also , I have to admit, many losses even versus lower rated players

At 44.06, it is not necessary to play Nc6 before capturing on f2. You can just play Nxf2 first, and when (Kd2 is not possible because of Nxd1) the king takes, just play Bf3+ and still win the white queen. In fact by playing Nc6 first, you give white the chance to play Nc3 and the white queen is then protected from Qxd1.
