Hello, I have a question, I make a ring in size 7 blender and when it comes out of print that smaller, size 6, can you help me with that or it's something in the configuration, thank you

if you want any object in 3d print so you need to take 1mm extra in cad sometimes there's we need to take extra size for perfect ring or any jewellery and other option is try more object to do 3d print if you will see issues with all then you need to try option i have mentioned if any solution do you have so you can please tell me😊

Great tutorial, do you have a longer version of how you do the ring in blender in real time?
@GraceNoteForge Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Unfortunately, I don't have a longer video in real-time for this one but I've thought about making longer (hour+) videos showing the full process. I'll keep that in mind for future projects 😁

Awesome tutorial, I've been following your work for some time now (super talented!) Quick question, at 4:56, how did you get the textured look on the sides of the ring? also, it's blended so well. Was this just done via sculpting off the camera?
@GraceNoteForge Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Yep! the texture was sculpted off camera just to speed up the video. It was done by using a pretty high resolution (around 1 million vertices) and then using alpha brushes in sculpt mode to stamp on the wood texture. I then used the smooth brush to blend out the texture into the rest of the ring. My 3D printer doesn't quiet have the resolution needed to actual print that fine detail but it was still something I wanted to try out. 😁

I am a cat owner. He's my baby, but I think this ring is kind of morbid. Nothing I would want to ware. Must be weird people. Your work is great.

Thank you. It is kind of morbid when you think about it but thankfully its owner absolutely loves it!😄
