I cast colored pencils in epoxy a bunch of different ways and turned a Cigar Style pen out of one of the blanks.

That pen "turned" out amazing!!! I know. Like you haven't heard that one before. 🙄 I love watching what you come up with. I think the "fail" with the whole pencils would be a cool blank if you cut slivers, slices, and chunks of different sizes and then tossed them into a mold. I think the blanks from that "fail" could be a real hit. (just my humble opinion, though.) I really appreciate the information and inspiration you are so kindly giving on your channel, and your answers to the questions I have asked in the comments, too. That IS a Fancy pen. Very nice, Zac. I do like the blue hardware, it is subtle. If it was white, I think, it would be harsh looking. The blue makes it look sleek and smart. A teacher would love to get this as a gift. 🔥🔥🔥

Thanks Huw! I skipped the blank prep this time, forgot to get video of it. I did use a painted tube. You could also paint the inside of the blank for a slightly different look

Do you also make videos for resin projects without a pressure cooker?

I've have a few projects where I didn't use pressure, but I typically use Alumilite Clear Slow resin that requires pressure and am just in the habit of using them since I have them

Yep, it's just a 6 step plastic polishing system. I tried it out a while back and it gave me better and faster results than buffing, so I switched to it. Haven't tested it against other plastic polishing system, probably similar to others too

How did you keep the led from falling out I bought one of the blanks like this one you turned and some of the led fell out while turning
