The overlay fabric you chose for the bodice is beautiful! I love how it brings out the iciness of the pale blue under fabric, and the light gray used for the sleeves works great with the rest of the bodice!

I am amazed that you sew so much by hand. I think you have a career ahead of you in haute couture fashion.

Is there any chance you could go over draping a pattern for a bodice in more detail? I'd really like to be able to draft in that way.

This is a really beautiful dress, however I was wondering what you used as a closure in the back? I may have just missed it but i noticed some lace when you spun around and it is a stunning dress on you.

Alice I really like hand sewing! So I don't view it as a chore or anything. I like catching up on TV and listening to music while I do it, which makes the process more enjoyable :)
