making a dress out of 150 crochet flowers (it took three tries help)

so this video was a bit of a disaster from the actual dress-making process to the corrupt flash drive to the horrific lighting...but please leave a comment saying something nice bc i really did put sm work into it LOL

You should make a bolero with the flowers on the sleeves or front/back panel(s)!! if you use the grid pattern it'll look similar to emulate this project while still being more wearable!

the final dress turned out so amazing ❤ you could do a (beach) bag with the remaining flowers. same mesh pattern as the dress with flowers at the bottom for support and more flowers all over

I was so engaged for this process, but I'm sorry it gave you so much grief! You know us fiber artists all be going through frustrations like that in like, every project. I think best thing to do with the other flowers is to make a piece to pair with the dress! maybe a cardigan, or a totebag/crossbody sorta vibe? That way all the flowers can stay together which in total, represents the 150 flowers.

You killed this! It looks fantastic! Low key wished you kept some of the loose ends on the flowers to give it a more funky flair to the dress but I understand they got in the way while sewing. Someone (@happycrochetzzs) suggested doing your arm/bolero thing you do with the grid pattern and attaching some of the flowers to the grid. Maybe it could go over the dress? Maybe it could be its own top? Either way, great job!
