Great job pimpin, I really enjoyed this video. But buddy really needs to seriously overhaul the stereo system, he gone burn your work down. Don't need 10 speakers, 6x9 in the lids, 6.5 up front, and one amp, a Hertz setup, maybe 8's or 10's in bags all you need running on 1 amp. Keep it coming brah

That loose front end feel was common in the early days of running a 21" wheel. The best fix was to lower the forks 1 to 2 inches. Progressive shock company makes a fork kit that's super easy to install.
@BrandonBicasso3 ай бұрын
I thought the raised front end could’ve contributed to some wind turbulence also. It’s not a fun ride. I’ll run it by the owner. 🤙🏾

Question about fork seals. I’ve had my scout bobber for about a year with roughly 5k miles put on it. I got home today and there is a black ring around my fork and oil running down the side I wiped it all off, took the dust cover off and ran a plastic card around the seal. I compressed it a bunch and it doesn’t seem like there is any oil on the fork now. Should I think about replacing my fork seals or was it just some dirt?
@BrandonBicasso2 ай бұрын
You’d only know by taking the fork cap off and taking a peek. If you caught the leak in time, could’ve gotten lucky and got the debris out before it became a bigger problem.
@MastaKeahi2 ай бұрын
@ Honestly with all the issues I’ve had with my scout since buying it I’m kinda starting to regret it. With the wire harness needing replaced at 500miles and the engine leaking oil around those weep holes and now the fork seals starting to go around 5k miles. It’s just kinda frustrating.
@BrandonBicasso2 ай бұрын
Geez. That’s awful. Most of that would be covered under warranty. Shouldn’t have to deal with it but that’s why you have it. Understand the frustrations tho.

Try putting those wheel bearings in the freezer for several hours. It’s amazing how much less effort you need to get them in when they’re that cold

I just paid almost $900 for new tires for my 22 Chief Bobber. What are your thoughts on sealing the rim to cancel the inner tube? Would you do it to your bobber?
@BrandonBicasso3 ай бұрын
I’ve never done it but it’s not uncommon to do so. I haven’t had the need is all.
@sway02213 ай бұрын
Dang!!! Sooo did he say the wobble was there before?
@BrandonBicasso3 ай бұрын
😅 nah.. if the tire/wheel had anything to do with it, it’s because the suspension is raised more in the front causing wind turbulence. I wouldn’t know without taking the front end apart and checking the bearings. The best way I can describe the issue is like loose steering or oversteer in a car. Typically that happens with bearings or the adjustment of them. With this bike having a lot of added weight and geometry issues, changing out that wheel shouldn’t immediately cause a wobble like that. Besides the wobble at higher speeds, it’s stable. Rides soft in the front, stiff in the rear. As for him knowing, he maybe had the bike a few weeks before bringing it to me. No knowledge on the history of anything with it, unfortunately. I don’t think he got it up to high way speed to experience that happening, but he’s a new rider also.

Maybe you should weld that hole closed on the brake caliper to avoid friction stress failure between the drill holes, especially in the front wheel. ✌️ Just a suggestion from a Top Secret Co barstool engineer, not the casting couch. But still, I was told No Teaching.

24years in audio. And today is the first time I seen someone twist the wire with a pair of pliers And that’s what happens when you mess with trailing angles n such My 2011 vaquero came with a 21” wheel It lasted less than a week. Changed it for a oEm wheel
@BrandonBicasso3 ай бұрын
Yeah, I’m not going full grip on the pliers. It’s more so to guide the wires in a twist so the jaws are barely putting pressure on them. I’d snap the wires if I gripped too tight. Not ideal but it gives them a solid twist.

Just add a bolt to that hole you tapped to plug it.

@BrandonBicasso3 ай бұрын
Depends. I like music same as I listen to music in my car. Or while I work occasionally. Adds to the vibe. I also ride without music so for me, depends on how I feel. Speaker systems for some are for show as it is their entertainment.
