I’ve been freezing bearings for years and it absolutely never, ever worked for me either. Great job Brandon. I wouldn’t sweat that dust shield for even 1 minute. That will last forever like that.

Brandon, Before you ship that beautiful Indian out to me in Australia can you make a couple of changes for me. 1. Powder-coat the the exhaust Shields white because I know it will look better. 2. All the bolts that bolt onto the frame should be powder coated black gloss because I know it will look better. Ha ha my little joke, just wanted to say that she is looking great. Well done digger.

Not bad ideas. I may go back and redo the hardware. It’s an after thought right now 😅

Question: Shouldn’t the lower triple have bump stops? Tip: I use liquid dish soap as a lubricant for my radiator hoses. It makes it easier to slide on.
@BrandonBicasso2 ай бұрын
Maybe. This design doesn’t have triple stops on the lower nor the frame. Why, I’m not sure.

Would love that ignition video you mentioned. My 2022 scout bobber got stolen last month. I can’t stop thinking about how they managed to get away with my baby 😢

Ever think about taking before snap shots as you take stuff apart?
@BrandonBicasso2 ай бұрын
I do for mostly electrical and cable routing. A lot of what you get on camera is my initial thought, then I go off to see photos or video I took to get me back on track.

I saved the most time having all of my bolts/brackets etc. well marked so it removed majority of guess work. I didn’t do that as well on the Magnum.
@tomedwards1592 ай бұрын
it still not to late to install the fork lock.
@BrandonBicasso2 ай бұрын
So, I thought about that. I wanted to wait until the bike was fully together. It made more sense to show people what fully was involved on disassembly. What do you think?

Just take the little extra time and money and do the neck bearing and dust seal correctly. It is easier to do it now!
@BrandonBicasso2 ай бұрын
That bearing and seal are fine. You’ll have to destroy that bearing to get it off that triple and risk damaging the triple. Been there done it.
@brandescm2 ай бұрын
@@BrandonBicasso I would disagree the seal is fine, since the purpose is to seal and it now has a slice in it. Your bike, do as you please.

love the videos, im getting a bad o2 sensor on the front sensor. is it tough to replace?
@BrandonBicasso2 ай бұрын
Nah, takes maybe 30 minutes of fiddling. It's a tight area but not too bad. Zip tie holds it at the bottom behind the radiator cover.
