Good end product ! I have done sheaths for knives/machetes and its easier because of the shape but you still have to be good to get that right " click" when you snap it in or out, AND not have it grinding out the kydex because its too tight

Thanks for checking it out. I do all my holsters Neanderthal style lol. Most people now are just lazy and wanting mass production so they buy the special molds that make them cookie cutter. I personally prefer the hand press and and hand fitting that you get out of this way. Just my opinion. And this way anyone can make one in their garage without anything special.

Many thanks. Where I live I couldn't find a holster for my new Hellcat Pro and can not buy it online over sees. May I ask if i can use manual tool for sawing(like a small saw) and sanding papers? also if I can use other method for pressing instead of buying a pressing tool? I have not worked on kydex before but easy to buy kydex sheets online and I don't want to spend too much for a small project. appreciate any feedback

Sorry, all my comments have been held for review and wasn’t getting notifications for them. You can use a box cutter to make your cuts with enough patience, as for the press. You can use 2 pieces of wood and towels in a pinch, they would just add texture to the kydex. It a very forgiving material, if you mess up just reheat it.

I just watched a video of blocking, mainly just want to block off the chamber and sight relief. I use .080 but store bought stuff is more .060ish I believe. I like the thicker stuff for durability, I have yet to have any breakage. If you use the .060 stuff you will get more detail and it will be easier to work with.

did you put eyelids in first before the clip screws? if so how did you do it in that small space?🤣

If your asking about the clip screws, I drill the holes then push the back of the Chicago screw through the holster and put the washer on. It doesn’t take a lot to hold them in place to get the screw started and tightened.
