I also did it totally from scratch. Just because i wanted to (not going to ever sell my first set) Im almost done, im past the curving stage. It really is alot of time and effort. Edit: Grace of the elves with signs of the porter is a blessing to do this.

Anyone watching this in 2021, if you wear a porter and mine the concentrated coal in the living rock cavers, your porter will send all 5 (10 with stone spirits) and only use 1 porter charge.

I get it is from scratch but u coulda used stone spirits and it woulda cut the time in half for collecting ores

Yeah I'v finished the mining part mostly and just found out make it on anvil and actually making super long it's horrendous.

Shoulda used Ore Spirits to speed up the process and cut it in half.

I have been in the process myself. I have found if you have the elite seers done mining the coal at the coal carts is best for that. Plus I’m almost done with the smithing

just for the time to be accurate. did you 4tick mine. rockertunity only mine. or afk mine? because all 3 types have very different speeds of ore gain.

That is literally the biggest problem, everything else is so low in rewards compared to combat, that it is not even worth thinking about anything other than combat.

Yes and no, there's many high skilling level money makers that reach 10M/hr, things like runecrafting etc. But obviously bossing is and should be the best gp/hour as it requires a ton of statts, gear, knowledge and skill (like actual skill at PvMing).

I believe everything for trimmed masterwork is abailable on ge, so shouldn't be an issue if you have the money and 99 smithing.

Do you think mining and smithing bars for masterwork platebodies is good money making? You said near the end it rounds out about 1mil/hr which isn't all too good. Even mining light/dark aminica seems better compared to this.
