You do not need to create the Elder Rune +5 set from scratch. The only requirement is to smith a full Elder Rune +4 set in to a +5 set. This means you can buy a full Elder Rune +4 set, smith it in to +5 and you will get the achievement.

This is the most expensive and unnecessary way to do it. Literally just use a elder chest with how ever many magic notes and collect light and dark animica. It will take some time but with the magic golem/golden suit/Varrock 4 suit. It becomes easier to mine and gain exp for mining then.

So, in total, you need 600 bronze bars, iron bars, mithril bars, adamant bars, rune bars, orikalkum bars, necro bars, bane bars, and elder rune bars; in addition to 720 steel bars; and 12 leather (untrimmed).

boosts seem to work, but with the sheer amount of time it takes to make one piece, its honestly not worth trying to boost. You'd save time just getting 99

Hi Protoxx, I have done all the steps to create the masterwork, including rivets, and have done the achievement. But, I have been left with an Unfinished Riveted Masterwork Platebody/Legs and have absolutely no idea why it didn't complete the armour. Any ideas? I'm going crazy here!

Then youre better off with the t90, the t92 is amazing because of the effect, but don't need that for gwd2. Get the t90, and when you scale on your pvming, upgrade it to t92

1:40 Actually you do not need to smith the elder rune from scratch (0 - 5). You can buy elder rune +4 and upgrade it to +5 for the achievement to unlock the ability to smith trimmed masterwork armor.

I have all the plates and have made the armour but I need it trimmed now, I put all the rivets on each piece. Ok the day after making the legs which show me how much they are worth. I made the top boots and helm but they all say unfinished even though I added all rivets. Why does it say that. I have augmented the legs but cant do the top till it stops saying unfinished.??? Hope you still check out this video. I have made the essence and need to get it all trimmed, a mate said to augment it first though

Glad you fixed the numbers :D If the numbers from before were true then this set should be worth much more and would be really hard to get. However you make 10 rivets with 1 steel bar, so that still is wrong.

If youre gonna be standing there with one square, i recommend biting 2 and venomblood and genocidal on the top as theyre cheaper and relatively easy to get and on the legs id have either a combo of dragon/demon slayer and crackling 3 crystal shield 1 as if im correct here, the passive effect of the armor can both proc and store health, giving you a bit if wiggle room to heal up with soul split OR you can just power through
