Quick note about the CLEAR WORBLA: I just learned it takes a lot more heat to activate so that is why I had a harder time shaping it. I just didn't have it hot enough... so if you do get it hot enough make sure to WEAR GLOVES to project your skin. Since I didn't get it too hot, it didn't bother me but make sure to protect your fingers!

@@BentleyHouseMinis Hi Ara, I also have a good plan to make 1/12th scale trees, but in limited numbers. In the fall, when the tomato vines no longer yield, I carefully dig up the roots, clean up the soil and with the base of the stem as a trunk and the rootlets of the roots ground down a bit with scissors, you get very convincing trees. All that's left to do is to glue on a few leaves to get some nice winter trees. But it doesn't work every time, unlike your technique. Kisses from France Domi Ps. Scratch to Stormy

My dear, that was the most honest product review ever! Print job versus child with nerf! No wonder you are so detailed oriented and precise. Well done. I did not know the Fairfield was a 70’s revival of a Victorian, lovely! I shall have to watch in its entirety. I think you will have no trouble with the cinnamon, it protects food from spoiling, so it is like a preservative. Oh, and you lashed that ladder well, yes, tying stuff down like that is often called lashing. Glamorous word!

@@BentleyHouseMinis i'm easing him into it with the legos... lol. Right now, his confidence (and experience) is negligible. My goal is to build a house together from scratch, so I'm trying to ease him on a path that will benefit both of us in this, with his skills better meshing. But first, familiarity with tiny stuff lol. Its hilarious hearing a "ping" as some small bit hits the floor, and I'm doin' my thing, and I hear, "ugh. Sausage fingers." Then a grunt as he goes in hunt of the piece. To help, I got us both silicone baking mats (its amazing how easy paint, glue, etc cleans up!). The pings are fewer now, but still happen. But, he's enthusiastic. Now that he has a small collection of cars/vehicles, I might suggest he choose his favorite and we build it a suitable setting so we can display it. Better yet, one we can switch them out in. A bit devious, but... *grins*, he already admires minis, just doesn't think its for HIM as a hobby. He claims clumsiness, and I have to remind him, youtubers edit. Lol. So any "oopsies" a 'tuber leaves in, I try to show him, to remind him... it only stops him cus he lets it I forsee a MUCH happier retirement for us both if I can get him invested in both a hobby of his own (the technics) and a mutual hobby (minis). Separateness is as much a needed thing as togetherness (more-so for an introvert like myself, and partner is an extrovert and wants togetherness more lol, I think his doing something like tecnics in the same space as i am counts as his social need and my own quiet need, as he gets engrossed and tunes me out). Waiting for him to get off work so we can better organize this lil crafting area. I have bits if paper, ink pads, paint bottles, etc, strewn about lol. Between goodwill & $store, got a few storage things, some are "craftable", one's a shadow box (kind of, it was a "save your cash for whatever" display box lol), and I've gesso'd it, and now debating how to work (mini scene) within a shallow area, and what do I want to portray? Fun planning it out, though. I think 1st, determine a good scale. Lol.
