Quick tip for the cow hitch... instead of pulling all those feet through the cord loop after you’ve put it through the slit, you can just put the loop through the slit and then pull the open loop over your clip. If that makes sense. Hope that helps. I love the video. 👍🏼

I always like vids where you show the finished product first. Then, I know if I wanna watch the rest, LOL. Well done and solid craftsmanship.

Thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to get that into the beginning of the video next time.

Just a quick tip and you’ve probably already thought of this by now but instead of using the screws if you would Just use actual sling studs we could use the quick attach feature and that would also make your job easier I just thought I would point that out

Also measure the distance on the board like on a bracelet jig before you put your paracord through.

Nice little workstation you got set up there, I like the heartwood on the side of the bench especially. Been looking for a way to make a sling on the cheap here and I think this is a really good way to go about it, thanks. Love the channel!

I must ask how did you come up with the name of your channel?

My last name is Fox and and I post outdoors content. It just sounded right.

How many ft of paracord total?
@wesfox44554 жыл бұрын
Robert mitchell hello. I buy 100’ for the first layer. Then go 1’ for each inch you want the sling to be. 36” sling would be 36’ of paracord. I round up a bit so I’d go between 40’ and 45’. I use 100’ on the second layer. It will take quite a bit but not all of it. I don’t really have the dimensions for that one. Then I just use the leftover from the first layer to do the short part on the last layer.
