Hey Will, it's a Pipe Tomahawk. The Tabacco Bowl side would need a shaped hole to work as a bowl for the tobacco. Not a great idea to harden until you fuller that in or drill it. Additionally, remember it's a vicious weapon of war not a hatchet. The underside of the hatchet is usually sharpened to a wicked -edged hawkbill. The tobacco-bowl side is scalloped for gauging.

Alec comes back, opens the workshop and sees Will rofl-ing around being completely stoned! Will saying: "Welco-hohoho-me back to the dopeshop! It's a pleasure to have you back heee-hehehehehe-re." Alec: " What the hell is going on here!? "

Well, I knew it wasn't Alec doing the forging because the drift wasn't removed from the hole after every strike.

I know nothing about forging. What does that mean? :)

When actually punching through I did remove it after each hit- the multiple hits was trying to shear the plug from the hole, just took way more hits than the usual 1-2-3!

When you started on the Calvary sword I commented that you should do a tomahawk. So glad to see this built. Looks great Will!!

certain groups in the US Army still use their tomahawks.

Now Alec needs to make one, and we should see a Hatchet throwing competition. Side note: I thoroughly enjoy watching you both hone your skills and challenging each other to become better. Well done!

Second everyone else saying "Great Job Will!!!" It is always exciting to see you both playing off each others energy, but you carried on the energy and vibe of the Alec Steele Brand quite well on your own, with some of your own flair. Especially love the one handed heft to avoid putting the coffee mug down. Looking forward to round 2.
