I've had this deck in my wishlist for a very long time. I was hesitant due to the faces. Me too, I took this one to the beach recently, it was perfect! I tried to get a picture of the Sun card as the sun was setting over the Pacific, but it didn't turn out. Still love being able to take it with me! 😊 Thank you for watching! ❤️

Fabulous! I do like seeing how beautifully the two decks look together. I wonder whether you can recommend a larger deck to mod with the Anna K, one which keeps more of the picture and maybe only trims the black edging. I would be lost with this mod as I don’t know the original Anna K deck well enough to lose some bits of the image. But I like the mod and concept of pairing it with another deck. Thanks.

You could trim the Anna K and keep the titles on the bottom, I've seen it trimmed that way too and it looks great. As for other darker decks I've used with the Anna K, the Darkness of Light is one of my favorites. I would like to get the Bonefire and try trimming that one as well, but I haven't gotten it yet. It has black borders as well. Hope that helps! Thank you for watching! 😊

Boho Tarot Thanks so much for this extra information. I looked at the Darkness of Light deck, but the third edition which is now on pre-order, has lost the black borders and now shows white borders at the top and bottom (no borders at the sides). The images have been re-worked and look more defined and rather stark. I'm unsure of the changes, so will not order this deck. I do like the Bonefire Deck, however, it’s very busy. I’m checking another deck (which I think you have) but the reviews are very negative for the card quality. When I find it’s name, I’ll ask your opinion again. Hope you’re ok with these mini conversations. Thanks. 😊

Boho Tarot The other deck I like with a black border is the Star Tarot. Others say the card stock and quality of the cards is dreadful. That’s a big deterrent but these problems may have been fixed by now.

@@janetdanes7945 oh yes, I have the Star Tarot and I trimmed it down to just the artwork. I love it trimmed and it is one of my favorite decks. They cardstock is awful, but the stickiness is a bit better on mine after being well used. As far as I know they have not reprinted it on different cardstock, but I hope they do sometime, it's a fantastic deck. 😊

@@janetdanes7945 I am always ok with talking Tarot! 😊 I did hear the Darkness of Light had a new edition but I hadn't actually see it. I'm not sure I would care for those changes, I really like the dark look of the original. Oh another with black borders is Tarot of the Sidhe which is another if my favorite decks (again same super glossy cardstock ad Star Tarot tho.) I am going to trim the borders off mine just need to decide if I want to keep the titles or not. 😊

I just got a used copy of the Llewellyn version in a trade and knew it needed to lose the borders (it's chipping) so of course I had to check this out...I think I might just take it down to the image, and I might do a multi edge to match the indie decks..but I like the thinner stock too!
