It's nice to see this, but I've been cutting, carving, tooling, molding, forming... leather from the age of 5, let's just say the total number of decades are more than I care to say😶. However, I'm always looking for access to a wider range of hides, tanned well at a good price. I seldom take commissions for custom creations these days, but on occasion someone will tempt me with a customized challenge, or an exotic hide... one exotic I've only done repairs on, is stingray. Sorry, got side tracked daydreaming, lol. So any connections to such supplies, is always welcome.

@DowntownTailoring yes and no, I suffered a big loss about a decade or so back in a flood back in middle America. Yet, because I would often lone items to family & friends, and some items in storage, items not currently in fashion (my idea of fashion) in that moment, I still have approximately 50-75 clothing items, not including footwear, Coates, jewelry, hear accessories, or purses, which I have a plethora of. Than there of weapon sheaths and holsters, assorted cases and boxes. Loss of leather covered furnishings, I think I felt the most. Than there is seats, saddlebags and such for the Harly. Belts get abused around my family, so they wear out. I had a few art pieces, that suffered animal damage at the time of the flood. After listing items, and recalling others... I might need to be thankful for that floor🤔.

Hello, I’m a beginner at sewing! I want to fix the crotch part of my pants, I feel like it’s too low and want to make it higher. I have no sewing machine so I hand sew but I don’t know how to hem it and if it’s ok to use a regular needle and string. Will it fall apart in the washing machine?

I would suggest you check out some tutorials online about hand sewing for pants! 🥰
