I was drawn to your channel by a shorts on this project. I am happily surprised at how beautiful your planter area worked out for you.

I love your raised garden from cinder blocks. I want one too. I wish I was strong like you. I was many years ago, ah youth where have you gone👵🏻lol . when I was in my 40’s I made a large flat rock patio with 2 retaining walls and rock garden. I love ❤ gardening & working out doors.❤️🙏😎👩🏻🎨🐶🐾🫶👩🏻🎨

You are so smart and well done momma for making it work🔥❤😊 I only have three of the terracotta triangle shaped cinder blocks and I am inspired by your build! For a few herbs I know I can do it after seeing you build a whole row🪴 Thanks!

How have these held up over the last 2 years? Specifically wondering about the top edge where it's just the 2" pavers, has there been any cracking? I am doing something similar and wondering how it will hold up. Thanks for all the info you provided in this video!

Thanks for sharing! Random question - how's the wall holding up with water/moisture running through it via the soil? Are you dealing with anything seeping through? Staining, etc? Thanks!

Hi. Due to the weight of the cinder blocks, will the planter sink through time without a concrete footing?

I understand removing the old raised bed. But you could have just used the space and put the new bushes in ground and made the bed a more interesting shape with more room to use a variety of plants.

I was wondering how the stucco on the fountain is doing? Does it freeze where you live? I love your fountain build and was concerned if stucco cracking would be an issue. Thanks for sharing your project with us. Blessings -Kate

It’s doing fine so far! It’s been about 9 months and holding up! There are some hairline cracks in the stucco on the top where the top caps meet. You might be able to solve that by caulking them before the stucco.

Love it!!! We have lots of wild rabbits coming into our yard. I wonder if they would try to dig under?! End product is fabulous - looks very expensive.

I’m not sure because we don’t have a rabbit problem but maybe 🤷🏼♀️

Probably at least 10 times cheaper!

Te has olvidado de hacer una cimentación para sujetarlo bien al terreno. El anterior lo teníais y ahora lo habéis olvidado. Eso puede voltearse. Saludos

Would be way easier to just create a level layer of dirt in the ground before laying the bricks using a long straight stick. You did it the hard way Also you still need to level each layer due to the glue.

😃you are so funny you are just like me optimistic that things will stretch but knowing really they won't. Hey it really doesn't matter as long as it gets finished eventually. Looks great too might give this ago myself. xx

Looks beautiful! Just wondering why you decided to lay out all the cinder blocks, level them, then glue them? Wouldn't it have been easier to level them and glue them as you went? I could be totally wrong because I don't know this stuff. I want to make one of these for my mom so I'm glad I found your video!
@olivegreyavenue2 жыл бұрын
It's kind of like a dry fit, you want to make sure everything is fitting properly and leveling before gluing them all together and encountering a problem down the line. I'm glad you found it too :) Find me on insta (@olivegreyavenue) and send me pics of your project, I'd love to see!

I watched your short on this. I would instruct your children not to climb on this because the top caps that are bearing the weight of the soil, plants, and water, could easily collapse outward when a child jumps on it, because they are held together only with adhesive. A child could be injured by an 18-lb block or the resulting fall from the height of the planter. Better to be safe for their sakes.
