How to draw a repeating pattern. This method of making a pattern creates a square tile that can seamlessly repeat. It can be used to create fabric or digital designs but the drawing is all done by hand.

Hi Lou thank you for tutorial, it was really useful. Last year I went to the Knitting and Stitching show in Harrogate and went to a workshop for printing on fabrics. We covered this technique but I must say you explained it so much better and I can completely understand the process now. Thank you. I'm a fan of the Harrogate Knit and Stitch show, I usually go with my Mum who loves her knitting, and I like seeing the exhibitions. It's a fun technique, and very effective for printing on fabric. We had the storm overnight but all seems to be fine, it's nice and sunny now. Keep safe!
