Instead of buying a set of lowering blocks we're going to make a set using left over scrap steel. We want to give the 1936 Hudson Terraplane a better stance so we're going to lower the rear suspension 4 inches ✅

I am glad you showed the skirts with the flares. This illustrates perfectly what a huge difference a small design detail makes.

As per usual you work things out and follow your own advice and fair play to you it usually works out has you imagine. I have great pleasure in telling all my mates about yours and Jolene's youtube channel, I'm now retired and been in the body game here in the UK and on the Isle Of Wight for over 50 odd years, Keep up the good work and I will follow you to the end of each job whether I like it or not, I don't have to drive everything you make but then you would probably not want to drive every creation I have made since 1972. God bless you both.

Yes!! Nailed those skirts with fine tuning the ends. I'm all in for the with/without feature....but I gotta tell you, My humble opinion says NO mistakes anywhere on this build. The roof is beyond for looks and simplicity, the rear body stitching is just dripping with experience , the skirts are screaming to be lowered and the light bar finishes the look!!! Nice job to you both on of my favorites fir sure 🤯

Chad Take a reading of your pinion angle now. Once you raise the diff up into the body that 4" you will need to shim or angle the lowering block to adjust the pinion angle back to stock our you will get a massive vibration. your lowering block will have a slight wedge to it not dead square 4" block. The plate on the bottom of the diff with the hole is the spring perch. Usually that get cut off and re welded to adjust pinion angle.

I just wanted you to know how deep Joleen and your videos go! Not only does it make me wish I was as talented but also your work ethic is contagious. I have applied your work ethic to my every day tasks and life is better knowing I “can” do anything I put my mind and time into it!! Thank you for that!!

You put the insignias on the Fender Skirts, the " Dummy " spots, the Side Mounts, and a " Custom Windshield Shade" and you've got a Patinaed "Bomb". Filling in the ends of the lowering blocks gives it a nice clean look, like "Clean" Jolene. Love it!

I think this is one of your best that I have seen. Just the top chip lowering is grand, great job. This car has some grand things about it that most would not notice. You are making it elegant and grand. It may sound dumb...but have you thought of making it a limo? If you had two more doors of this same model year to add to space it out would be so so sharp and something beyond belief !

G'day Chad and Queen Jolene. With the aid of Queen Jolene's camera work, I've learnt more about welding by watching you on the torch Chad. You two are a good team. ❤ With the fender skirts I think you have to look at them patinaed in the colour of the car if possible. At the moment when you look at the car your eye goes straight to the skirts. They need to blend in. So thanks for sharing ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.

Dropping the car 4” will look cool. but in reality will it stimming be drivable ? or do you have plans to donHydraulics to raise it up and down for Show and Go ? itt looks like with the drop and the Stock Suspension travel might have the Rockers hitting the Pavement i’m just curious i don’t know the road conditions up there personally but in the lower 48 we have things like Speed Bumps and driveway Aprons etc and i’ve found that anything that lowers parts of Cars and Trucks like Ground effects ,Air Dams whatever make it hard to use them without having issues

Those little tips on the fender skirts make all the difference in the world. Those look more period for the vehicle. Adds a bit of snap to them. When you were making the end caps for the riser block, why didn't you use the side of the piece of scrap for that 4th one? It would have been the correct thickness and wide enough.

Jolene besides being a master of the camera you also do a fine job of cutting hair as well! It is just my opinion but, I think the car would really look nice with a paint job instead of patina but, again that is just my opinion and of course Jolene's Bugatti is still waiting for paint first! Excellent work today both of you, I always enjoy watching Chad create and Jolene capture it.
