Every time I watch you Brent it reminds me of stepping back in time . Thanks for the Videos Always can't wait to get the next Halfass Video no matter the content. Can't wait to see those finished crests ! Godspeed

Dammm, this RumRunner era is exactly what I like... I was watching the thumbnails but waiting to be surprised later. Heading backward now and digging the music! I remember once in the early 90's we spotted this 34 abandoned Chevy something and snooped it out that had a small block and 12 bolt set up already and tried finding the owner to buy it but had no luck.

I work with wood, nuts and bolts and screws mostly. Bought a welder. My first time welding, a "gallows" to hang my pigs after dispatching. Practiced for hours. Boogers! boogers! boogers! (And spattering) Then, I got the temp and feed dialed in. Man, what difference! Looks and feels much better. Patience, slow and steady with "U" movements wins. Gallows is strong. Will hang the gambrel secure safely. Bottom line: You make it look easy. It ain't! Lol! Practice makes perfect. (At least acceptable)😂

Just my two cents, Brent,, the longer hood, and the other body mods, give it a unique character,, I see this rod,, and picture either front fender mounted spare tires, or a continental kit on the rear bumper with filler panels from body to bumper, and I keep envisioning chrome steel wheels and/or fender skirts…. So far, very kool build .

Have to admit. That came out nice. Alot of work there. I have the same 8 inch DA. I used those orbital flat files. The 8 in DA is way better. I flung my share of filler in the past and those bag busters(as I call them) are the best for getting a panel straight fast. I did a 63 caddy convertible and put 13 gallons of filler into the rig!! Lol. That was what 95% of the work was done with... of and the car was painted gloss black after. Lol.

This is turning into the meanest looking rod of it's era (40's?) Brent. The front is big man. It would so greatly suit the 8 liter Viper V10 with a seven speed auto. Or a nice LS 😅 . The hood line is more like like a Kenworth than the pointy car hood. I like how the redesign has ended up looking ! As means as Cinderella's step sisters. Just plain nasty😈🎱

I've been up in the air about the front fenders but after looking at other 35s, and seeing that that was the prevailing style of the period, it looks right. Especially when the cars are painted and with a running board. Better wear a mask mister. You'll need to breath later. 😛
