I have worked in construction and engineering since the '60s, now I'm retired and rebuilding my fixer upper, digging, breaking concrete, mixing concrete etc, the guy I paid to help me couldn't keep up and he was half my age. I am not quite as strong as I was though so I am going to have a look at the video links, looks interesting.

"How dare You? You are not a mace smith! You have not drawn out a 30 lbs billet of 30 000 layer damascus. Hammer it out, made the ball, flatten the rest and rolled it on Your ????. And then forgewelded the handle together and then peen the ball to the handle! And I have seen You do KNIVES. A REAL mace smith only do maces." 😊 Well done! Thanks for all of Your work, and Your Life is not Simple and not Small. A mans life is to love and protect Your family, Your self, Your Friends and then the rest of the world. Thanks!

Hi Jeremy, do you think that you’d every do another 5 knives in 5 days challenge? Just thought since you were revisiting the 30 videos in 30 days maybe that one could be done next, might be easier now that you’re out of the shipping container and you have all your tools set up and ready

What are the dimensions used for this project?? Diameter of tubing? Wall thickness? Length? Diameter of the steel ball?
@Simplelittlelife4 жыл бұрын
Why? So you can punch it into amazon and assume that you have the same level of fitness level and strength as me? If you don’t know yourself and you don’t understand how to make something strong enough you shouldn’t try it in the first place.

What does your mace total length & weight measure & what size shot? I’ve had 2 made so far, one with a 1.5 inch diameter pipe with an 8.8 pound shot, total length 39 inches, total weight 15.5 pounds. The 2nd one is a total weight of 21 pounds and the pipe diameter is 1& 15/16, with a total length of 46 inches (12 pound shot). My next one is gonna be made with a 16 pound shot and I’m expecting the same specs as the previous one for a total weight of around 25 pounds.

I'm 21 and I agree with what you say, while it'd be nice to be all ripped it's not something my body will let me do, strength is tho, and I wanna keep it that way
@KiczzciK4 жыл бұрын
I know I'm just somebody on the internet to you, but seriously - if you're 21 and want to be in good shape/strong just go to the gym. A mace like this isn't going to cut it in any way or form. "Functional training" isn't really a thing - lifting weights in a gym IS functional training. There are different ways to "lift weights" in the gym too, try to find one for you. Working out with a mace like this is not going to give you the possibilities going to a gym would have about working out the whole body. BodyWeightFitness, resistance bands, 20 lbs exercise ball and a boxing bag is enough to become incredible strong in a very functional way - all that can be found in a gym. Weights are nice too, but if that is not your thing... I know how "going to the gym" sounds - and it doesn't sound appealing or like something that speaks to you. But it's incredible once you get used to it! Try it out at least. This goes for all in here. And while we're at it: Start slow, learn how to do the different exercises to avoid injury. Be respectful in the gym but don't let anybody discourage you to go! The biggest guy in there (often) will give you advice if you need it (everybody wants to talk about their hobby). Most important is to have fun though! Good luck (and a happy new year).
@S8tan74 жыл бұрын
A I’ve been going to the gym on and off for years, mostly on tbf, and I’m happy just getting strong rather than being cut so I’m just gunna keep doing what I am and I’m fine with that, but I’ll definitely take some tips Happy new year my dude
@KiczzciK4 жыл бұрын
@@S8tan7 Ah, sure. At first it sounded like you thought gym wasn't for you, but I see how I read it wrong. Keep it up man, in whichever way you feel like! Looking buff is not important - strength and health is though. To quote Plato: "No citizen has a right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training… what a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable". All the best.
