Nice tutorial. Btw. If you want to edit front and back pieces separately, you can right click the other piece and select "remove linked editing". This allows to adjust them separately.

Hey. Thanks for the guidance. I have a question. Is it possible to work with patterns, for example, transfer to fabric or save in PDF format?

Hey, I have a general question if you dont mind answering. I got a pre-made suit and now I am trying to get it adjusted to my avatar. But the shirt never seems to just settle. it is constantly moving in various area. What the hell is going on?

I've been struggling the past 5 minutes wondering why Shift+C hides my garment instead of displaying segment length... but I guess that's to be expected from the "Cbrush" guys ;) Thanks for the great tuts!

Friends, I did exactly as you did, I don't know what's going on with the physical properties. But once I hit the gravity button, the clothing goes all over the place, it doesn't set itself nicely on to the avatar. Also, the clothing is really polys, what do I do?
@shiing11225 жыл бұрын
what is it with me being able to answer my own question right after asking it? UGH. Unfortunately there's not a lot of helpful information for beginners... So here is the answer, when importing your object, on the pop up box, under scale you need to check the 'Auto Scale' button. What that does it scales your Avatar to the default 'Arrangement Points' (it's like a rig, so it assigns itself to your avatar, very important as thats the reference point for your cloth to latch on to) . I had just started using this program, struggled for a couple hours trying to figure out why my clothes were possessed haha

@@shiing1122 and wre you able to find the reason why the clothing was turning into a mesh (or polys)? I've been trying to figure that out for the past hour now. 😂😂

at the very very beginning, as soon as I start making my tshirt, the pattern is turned into sort of a mesh with triangles and it won't wrap the model because it is not smooth. I searched every single setting but I figure out the reason. 💆🏻♀️💆🏻♀️

243 times 243 is not 486. It's 59049. Shows I was paying attention at least.

FlippedNormals copy pattern with symmetry, when placing garment use the arrangement dots view
