You're absolutely right about Mr. Bellamy. No ever talks about it, but I think it's incredible, my personal favorite on Memory Almost Full. One of Paul's most underrated songs for sure. Regarding Run Devil Run, it's a good album. Certainly not his best, but the covers are decent. In my opinion, half of the album is good and the other half is just ok (Run Devil Run, What it is, Brown Eyed Handsome Man, and Try Not to Cry are some of my favorites). You should give it a listen!

I love have you have no bias against Paul's recent albums. Older fans tend to romanticize his early albums as better than the new stuff but your fresh ears give the new music an unbiased look. Very interesting.

pipes of peace over tug of war and wild life placement i will have to disagree with, but great list ✨

Banging ranking, agree with most of the picks tbf, the late 80s/early 90s were just not the vibe really 😂

His solo masterpiece had to be Band on The Run. I would put that above some of my favourite Beatles albums.

Don’t agree with much of this. Albums such as Mc3, Pipes of Peace, Egypt Station, Mc2, Broad Street ranked too high. Others I really like get the shaft, such as Flowers, London Town and Back to the Egg. Nice effort though.

London town and Off the ground are totally better when 80s stuff. McCartney 1 has one good song Maybe Im amazed and it dont feet the album. Bad ranking :(

Doesn't he tho' ? I wonder if on another day you wouldn't sound so drained and use the word "boring" so often. I suppose it doesn't matter that around the point of "Sound of Speed" 😉 you went off chronological order a few times… But I always find it depressingly fascinating that there's already a couple of generations of fans who encounter his entire decades of output all at once, rather than an early generation fan who sat with each album for a year or two as they came. ( I wrote the above at around the halfway point and right now, being up to "New", I think I'm even more depressed than you sound. )

I think Ram took a drubbing because it came out right after Paul sued to dissolve The Beatles. The fans and the rock press already blamed him for the breakup, the lawsuit solidified it. Ram has definitely stood the test of time.
