Absolutely amazing bait! This video was really fun to watch. Very reminiscent of your early videos where you made ridiculous lures and still caught fish! We watched this as a family and as soon as the bait was together our 19 month old started pointing and yelling "Bloop bloop bloop!!!!" With a look of amazement on her face and carried on like that for the rest of the video 😂

Amazing as always! When you try to remove the glued on paper, use a tiny bit of water, it will dissolve the glue and you can wipe the paper and the glue off. That's how I do it at least.

Damn this has to be one of my favorite baits you’ve made. Carved and painted wood bait with a splash of soft plastic. Not to mention you can use it with and without the umbrella rig. Dope paint, dope eyes. All around just 10/10 performance on this. Commenting this before you fish with it tho so hopefully it works lol Also I think it’d be sweet if you made 3 different 3-piece baits with crazy different paint schemes and then mix up the different pieces so each bait has 3 different paint schemes but it’s like a matching set at the same time. Would be pretty cool

You have probably answered this question many times, but what advice would you give someone just starting out making their own, or wanting to start making their own lures and baits. It definitely works. Especially on flats in spring and fall. I used the jdm version (genius plus blades & the jackall slim mikey Alabama) this year during the spawn and caught multiple dozens of fish every time I went out between 2 & 6lbs. It was a super super slow sink so you could wake it or let it go to bottom. Fairly weedless with the blades in front. Best was 0-3' on spawning flats. Rocky areas.
