I used to love camping and bushcraft when I was a kid in a very limited sense of course. Just starting to get back into this stuff now (25) and videos like this are so useful. Thanks a lot!

Hello Nick! Thank you so much for this video, hope to see some more about wild edibles. Wish you all the best.

And don't forget to wash them all as Tricky Woo may have marked them before you arrived on their walkies. I am a nettle and wild garlic fan. I enjoy pine needle tea when camping in the woods and the odd mushroom from the fields or woods. (If you know what you're eating). I can't be arsed plucking birds so I go for Bugs Bunny if he's hopping about.

Just an idea. Have you thought about Instagram. I would increase your workload, but you could post pictures of things like, what’s currently in season, edible and dangerous. Sorta like a PSA. Love your work, it’s encouraging me to get out. The boys and I are off wild camping in a couple of weeks thanks to you.

Thank you Nick. Can't say if plant life is the same here in Canada, but I have bought several reliable sources to help me with foraging. With more confidence I hope to be foraging soon as Spring arrives here in Ontario. Cheers, mate.

Good video 👍 almost for a second I thought you picked up a small giant hogweed 7:03 looked very spikey to be normal hogweed but you would know after touching so probably just the camera angle.

Thanks Nick As always brilliantly informative, We have been down in the New Forest the last few days and surrounding us were the Hawthorns, would have definitely tried them out had I seen this earlier. Next week then. All the best Chief (Johnny)

Nice show and tell Nick I wish I would find nice green plants that, here where I live in Texas we been in a drought the only plants that stay green here are the roses 🌹 and evergreens 🌲 that we water 💦 but don’t think 💭 any are eatable and for those chickens 🐓 we have wild ones that are really wild they once ran after my little daughter’s 👧🏻 while they were playing in the back yard I took care of that and ran after them with a rake wish it was a 🪓 could have had dinner 🥘😂👍👌✌️🇺🇸
