The video I mention about making your own stencils with old, unwanted photographs is here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmqWpIqPl6uEmas

I have come to the realization that Victorian beige, lace, and cabbage roses is NOT my jam. I am so glad to see the riot of color on your master board. Looking forward to more of your videos!

Ah that's lovely. Thank you so much for watching. I'm so glad the colours are your jam. I do love bright colours too.

Sometimes it can be good to keep a mistake to see how far we’ve come when we look back. 😊I love the colours you’ve used here

That's a lovely idea to hold onto the mistakes to chart your progress and journey. There is certainly some of that going on in my journals! I'm so glad you like the colours too!

I only did this painting on brown amazon packaging last week and because I'm impatient also, made a lot of brown mess. So I'm going to go over it again and add some tissue that I have, wait for it to dry as I go and brighten up the mess and use it as a masterboard and see how it goes. Thanks for giving me the inspiration to continue on with my mess.

I think we've all been there with that "brown mess". I'm right there with you on the impatience front. I think sometimes leaving it be for a bit and then coming back with renewed motivation is the way forward. Your plan sounds like a really great idea. I'm glad the video was helpful in terms of spurring you on! Thanks for watching.

Love how these turned out. I have tried pieces that have not turned out the way I wanted or expected, but when going back to them, have reused them in a different way I did not see before. It's a learning experience. So glad to see you creating again, your art is inspiring 😊

You are so right, a little distance can often yield fresh ideas for a piece you thought was lost. Thank you for watching!

I really like the stencil you used briefly which looked like chemistry drawings. can you remember where it was from please?
@journalingplanet4 ай бұрын
I think that one was from Shein, they rotate their stock quite a lot so I'm not sure if it will be still available as it was from quite some time ago. But I am sure you will be able to find something quite similar!
