Just a note of history. I worked at McDonald's when the Egg McMuffin was first brought out in the Summer of 1972. Commercially available English Muffins, the same cheese we used on burgers, "Canadian Bacon", and we used real eggs. That is, we actually had eggs in the shell. I remember my later to be brother-in-law working to get the technique right as the instructions from the "Main Office" didn't quite work as well to start with. Eggs are not as forgiving as burger patties.

Ex-McDonalds employee here. They break the yolks for the McMuffins round eggs. The egg tool is this pair of plastic tweezers with prongs on the bottom for quickly breaking a bunch of yolks, and tweezers on the front for picking out eggshells. Instead of the old ring on grill method, they're now made in non-stick dishes set into trays that go into convection ovens. Of course they didn't have teflon in the 18th century. Just figured I'd mention it. Also always go for round egg over folded egg. The folded eggs come pre formed and pre cooked in a package, and are only reheated in the oven. BTW that branding iron is pure style.

This was such a wonderful video. This channel has been absolutely stellar lately. Quite a feat considering it’s already impeccable quality. Those sandwiches looked amazing. The series concept is so good. This man is such a treasure. I could not ever say enough good. After watching Mr. Adams indulge in one of the modern world’s finest overindulgence, it would be entertaining to see him react to the fact that we sell literally millions of those sandwiches every single day in this country. Pretty wild stuff.
