This video shows you how to do a cold process soap column pour, but with a difference.
I feel that the standard column pour has a couple of weak points, the area where you remove the column can be muddled and messy and the design that looks fantastic in the full loaf but not always great by the time it's cut into bars. So by using embeds rather than columns we end up with every bar having a great design and an embed feature rather than a weird messy section.
I have some exciting news to share, the I Dream In Soap online shop is now open. I have been very lucky and thank everyone so much who has already bought soap, I sold out of three designs in the 1st day. I will be working hard to keep the shop stocked, but why not pop over there and subscribe for email notifications so you are amongst the 1st to know when new products are added:

Although my cold process soap making tutorials are of a tutorial nature, they are intended for people who have a good understanding of making cold process soap. The information given is based on what works for me, however, there are lots of variables associated with cold process soap making and I therefore, take no responsibility for the results achieved when using the techniques or methods explained in these tutorials. Cold process soap involves the necessary use of sodium Hydroxide (lye) which is a very dangerous substance. Before attempting and cold process soap making you should ensure you are fully aware of the lye safety procedures and always wear the correct safety equipment when making soap.
