Making an end grain padauk/maple chessboard

This was 2,25" square chess board. I tried to make "levitating" playing surface. It was a long work. It took me two weeks to make these chessboards.

It's been 2 years since I watch your videos especially this one. The flow you implement in making these boards indicate that you've come a long way. I really feel quite relaxed and euphoric watching this video mehn. Your craft inspires me to own this board some day as a masterpiece and something I'd wanna age with to be honest. Simply stunning. My only suggestion, screw the top down for the shipping box so that it can be more easily opened without having to pry it open at delivery and possibly damage the board.
