Making an unusual Lego Loco

How I went about making and remaking my latest Lego trains MOC. Eight minutes of me waffling on about how tricky it was, what problems I encountered, and how I fixed them.

I recognize that unusual type of locomotive; it's the London and South Western Railway F9 4-2-4 saloon tank engine - better known as "The Bug" - designed and built in 1899 and withdrawn in 1940. Reportedly, it was built to bring railway directors to places at a very quick pace. The saloon unit is preserved as a garden shed, but the engine unit itself was scrapped by 1957.

So it does! I wasn't familiar with that story from my own childhood (Ivor the Engine TV series and the Rev Awdry books were more my era) but, now I look, I see the similarity.
