For Valkyr, I run nourish with the gladiator mods and Tennokai. On TennoKai hits I can deal up to 200m. I run Nourish because it lets me stay in her 4 LITERALLY forever.

Inaros can get a bit funnier with the new arcanes: take the one that grants initial combo on finisher (Melee Crescendo), spam the hell out of pocket sand to farm finishers early on, and then have permanent x12 heavy waves coming from the Syam and healing you to full every hit

With Valkyr the gladiator mod set carries over from melees to her talons so she can tier 2 red crit without wrathful advance or mod slots and drifting contact is giving a wopping 4% status along with the combo duration being available from dexterity arcanes.

Precisely this. The melee Gladiator set mods (Gladiator Might, Gladiator Vice, Gladiator Rush) when equipped on your in-hand melee weapon also have their effects apply to Hysteria, in other words, giving her additional critical chance on the Talons. I have tested it and you can easily test it too if you want. Simply building combo on your in-hand melee weapon or on the Talons will increase your Critical Chance as your combo increased. Furthermore, this makes Kullervo's ability to enhance your Critical Chance unnecessary to achieve red crits. Replace Wrathful Advance from Kullervo with another ability. You can remove Arcane Energize from the build entirely if you subsume Nourish from Grendel, which frees up the slot for Arcane Fury to further increase your Melee Damage alongside Molt Augmented (Meaning you can have both and get the "le funny numbers" that everyone seemingly wants) Also, Nourish has the huge advantage of easily applying Viral using just her Talons, which have a pathetic status chance of only 10% and don't even have access to Weeping Wounds. Alternatively, you can keep Arcane Energize and subsume the ability Silence from Banshee, so you have crowd control while freely moving and killing enemies (Paralysis is worthless dogshit in comparison) and you can choose between Arcane Fury or Molt Augmented for your other Arcane slot. Obviously you can't have both at once with this build, though. Some other Helminth options can be Roar for damage, or some armor stripping ability such as Tharros Strike which works against acolytes, or Terrify which doesn't affect Acolytes but doubles as a crowd control ability. You can also use Shattering Impact on your in-hand melee weapon for an alternate method for armor strip. Eclipse is not as good as Roar, it's high damage numbers are somewhat misleading; you will not always be in the light meaning you won't always have the damage buff during combat, instead you will receive a useless defense buff while you are in Hysteria. Also, it's misleading because even if the damage buff from Eclipse is active and shows the full percentage number, it won't actually give you the full Eclipse damage bonus unless you are in a very bright environment; this is because Eclipse works real-time to detect your surroundings and checks for how much environmental lighting there is. Also, with the new Tennokai mods, Heavy Attacks on her Talons hit like a fucking truck. Mentor's Legacy is the default one you get and it's pretty good on it's own, but there's also Opportunity's Reach which extends the duration in which Tennokai is active and further increases the range of the attack. You can hit massive damage numbers with this build and it synergizes well with her Talons because the only 2 attacks worth using on them are the slide attack and the heavy attack.

I think i'd still prefer Wrathfull advance over most helminth options. a 3 peice gladiator set would give +330% Critical chance at 12x multiplier, or 215% critical chance for claw. This means Wrathfull Advance is still giving atleast a 1.5x more critical chance per 100% strength, which is generally going to outpace the damage of most other options, especially due to being reliable. The main things that I'd take over it is either an armor strip, or Nourish, for the reasons mentioned above. Though I wouldn't really say Nourish makes claw-only reliably proc Viral. You're generally better off unequipping claws every second to proc the viral waves and then life steal it back instead, assuming you can actually survive chip damage(which at that point it wouldn't be too different from just firing a AOE primer) Tangent, but I don't think Paralsys is actually that bad? Like sure, you basically need the augment to get any real use out of it, but if you're willing to give up a mod slot it's not bad in either CC or grouping(if you're willing to keep the relevant stats). You're definitely going to get more use of out then Rip line to say the least.

I usually run empower for the simplicity of activating it once at the start of the mission and never needing to again unless I hit a nullifier. Even if it's not the strongest subsume, everything in sp gets one shot anyway and once the enemies start getting up there in level I just alt-fire cedo and they die in one hit again. I almost never activate paralysis but I keep it over ripline because at least opening enemies to finishers is more useful than flinging them across the room at mach 5 speeds.

I have both Sacrificial mods on Talons, the 3 Glad mods on Praedos and Gladiator Resolve on her. 410% crit chance on every attack. Wrathful Advance is unnecessary at that point, I run Silence to make sure Acolytes can never switch off Hysteria. Set up right Valkyr is not only not bad, she can do SP endurance just holding down 2 buttons and pressing a 3rd every now and then...

yeah the bad frames arent considered bad for survivability its because they dont do anything useful. however i think people underestimate nyx and her CC because unlike most other CC changing enemy agro doesn't care about overgaurd so long as there is anything that doesn't have overgaurd. though Valk is 100% the worst frame in the game right now, her best ability is in helminth and isnt even that good, her build is just using her crap exalted weapon. Inaros (pre rework) while doesn't do much his build is mostly open for whatever you want which is a big strength where Valk needs duration and energy and some efficiency, Inaros only needs health and anything else is icing on the cake.

Valkyr and Nyx are both "bad" in terms of having only 2 strong abilities, but that's enough that its not surprising to see them do well in high level content. Inaros is unequivocally awful, though. However, there is at least one ability-focused build for him that gets 100ish KPM. It uses Sandstorm + slash melee weapon + high ability str/range + Hunter Adrenaline...and shockingly its pretty great...if you don't mind a brain-dead camping build.

Also, any warframe can EASILY build tanky and just use a strong ranged or melee weapon and crush steel path. Steel path is actually not that much of a barrier unless you're a new player.

@@DrewBoivie what do you find counter-intuitive about Chaos? I think it's pretty good as far as CC powers go. As for Mind Control, I called it meh because while the damage and distraction it gives is really minor, you can get some nice buffs out of it depending on the enemy you target. It's not super impactful, but since it's cheap and has a long duration it does enough to be worth casting and keeping active. Definetely more than something like Fireball, Ripline or Decoy

@@josequiles7430 Its just playstyle, but I don't care about CC abilities in general. I'd just rather eliminate the opposition, loot them, and not concern myself with them going forward. The current game doesn't lend itself to many situations where you can't simply dispatch everything that moves, and so to me CC feels like playing with my food. There are a few exceptions to this such as demolysts and acolytes...but coincidentally they are generally immune to most CC including Chaos.

Valkyr actually pairs really well with the Cedo for a priming weapon since it staggers enemies with its alt fire while spreading statuses across the map really well for condition overload. It also helps on defense missions so I can prevent enemies from hurting the target with the stagger until I can reach them.

see, thats the thing, any frame can go to level cap. nobody ever argues saying "this frame is trash because it dies so quickly or damage is crap". when you have access to OP weapons/rivens and maxed out focus school, you can go to any extent in this game. the question is not about whether or not a frame is good at playing, its about whether or not its worth playing. for example, valkyr has only 2/4 useful abilities, one of them being an exhalted weapon (which forces you to play 1 type of melee, i personally like playing with different weapons everyday) and other one gives you defense and attack speed but casting speeds are hella slow. now I could try to fix these problems with mods/arcanes/shards/helminth OR i can just play voruna (The actual melee oriented frame).

Idk why people consider valkyr as a bad frame , her 1 is horrid I agree , its barely useful , 2 is one of her bread and butter abilities that keeps her incredibly potent when it comes to her claws slide attacks , her 3 is a subsumable slot for Nourish to get free viral to further boost ur claws and hysteria with equilibrium practically means unlimited invulnerability unless u fall of a cliff or get into a nulli bubble , My Valk can comfortably hit for 1 mill dmg without needing kullervo's subsume ... And u got War cry augment for perma war cry ..... Either people just dont fully kit her out , or they just dont like her play style

@@nolen_ix I never really considered her as a bad frame , as there are others far worse than her in terms of performance and capabilities , and being one of the few frames that literally wont die when u put 1 mod into her makes her one of the strongest , only weakness being cliffs and nulli bubbles, like every other frame who hates cliffs and bubbles. Calling her bad as opposed to outdated makes it sound like shes just a very bad frame when infact she isnt. If u call her kit bad , then I'd also argue revenants kit is bad since much closer to valkyr , only reason why rev is good is cuz of mesmer skin.

The stance on talons is horrible for one, and 1-3 is useless, if they were changed she wouldn’t be consider bad. Every frame nowadays works fine as is except inaros. But what seperates the good from the bad is if their abilities synergize with each other and have uses more that being gimmicks for the sake of having it.

The only like “bad” warframes in the game are Yareli, nyx, Grendel, loki(worthless), banshee limbo, chroma, ivara, equinox, voruna and wukong. Grendel’s bad because he’s outclassed by half the roster with his uses, wukong eats all your ammo in 2 seconds, Loki is just GARBAGE, voruna is just lame and there’s no reason to use her, ivara doesn’t have practical use outside of being a bandaid for people who such at spy, Nyx is just a bad revenant Limbo (self explanatory) Chromas just rhino with awful scaling and worse buffs in every aspect. Banshee just isn’t helpful compared to other buffing frames for like any purpose Yareli just sucks almost as much as loki

My go-to is Thermal Sunder. If you want to level any warframe fast, slap that on your 1 with high ability str/range/efficiency, and spam it for a few rounds in the ESO.

@@rocki_0161 Heat does 2x as much base damage and applies a very quickly stacking damage over time so its usually best for slow enemies. Then again, in ESO with high ability strength most things die almost instantly.
