Making 'Birdman' Film Was a Challenge for All-Star Cast

spinna 2017 I didn't know what I was getting into, so going into the first scene I was like "oh, they're doing an homage to that Pulp Fiction scene. And they're still going. And they're- wait, when was there a cut?!"

It scares me how he Michael Keaton was off Hollywood's radar for so long... and that he managed to come back with a banger of a movie with that cast.

Brilliant film but certainly not for every taste. I would put a lot of green on a bet that picks Michael Keaton as Best Actor at the Oscars. A performance for the ages.

yeah, I have some friends that wouldn't even consider to see it just because of the trailer... but come on, they could have made a non one shot movie, or they could have made a big blockbuster, but that would be doing the same than every commercial success... Alejandro got out of everybody's comfort zone, seeking for something as much original as possible. He knew he was going to alienate a big sector of the market... who cares, this wasn't meant to be record breaking movie... I'm glad new stuff or risky stuff is being tried... Even if the people who don't like the movie, they appreciate having these kind of risky projects to push future movies to excel at innovation and technique as well as drama and story...

+8 Bit Mania does the cinematographer think of every shot or is that the director? What does the cinematographer actually do? I would appreciate it if you would let me know.

It's a work that both of them do, but the cinematographer is really more focused on the look of the shot, while the director focus also in the actions and dialogues. The final decisions on the look of th shot are usually made by the cinematographer, because he can chose the right lenses, the angle, the camera movements and he also decides the lighting in the scene
