Making Bookmarks at Home?! DIY Laminated Bookmarks!

Join me while I try making my own laminated bookmarks at home! This was a lot of trial and error, but I finally found a method that worked for me. If you like these, you can grab one in my shop, along with a bunch of other cute goodies!

Ripples in the lamination is temperature been a touch too high, too low and you get a mottled dull look. Appreciate explaining why trimming too close to the laminated paper is not a good idea, I think rounding the corners offsets the larger laminate border, defiantly looks more professional and longevity is super important. There was a chap here on KZbin making laminated stickers, he was using a cold laminating process, like down the rabbit hole and ordering specific cut rolls of laminate at a particular thickness. Might be worth searching that process for future product development ideas.

I also spent a decent amount of time recently researching the cold lamination sheets. If stickers are cut with it on there and they don't peel, theoretically it should work for bookmarks too! Definitely something I'm considering. I know some people really dislike laminated bookmarks. But thanks for letting me know the rippled mean it's too hot. Maybe I let it run too long before starting.
