How do you get the pokemon cards to be 3x3? Does it give you that option at Staples? I would need to go there for this, as I am making custom Eevee cards for a personal collection.

Hey! If you want to make your own custom cards, I recommend checking this video out if you haven't already! I go really in depth here, it should be much easier! How to Make Your Own CUSTOM Full Art Pokemon Cards! kzbin.info/www/bejne/eX27YqNtZrKBnpo Now, as for placing 3x3 on a paper, it depends on the software you are using. Staples won't do it, they only print whatever you have. I used Google docs. For this, hit format, headers and footers, and then set both margins to zero. Then, select your image, and change it to "break text". This way you can move it around on the page freely. You can then easily set 3x3 cards on a page. Hey I have a question if I take my proxy to my local printing store can they add texture to it?

Unfortunately not… They can only print the card, and that’s the only way I’ve every done it as well. Texture is quite tricky, some have mentioned that they managed to do it by etching the card with a ball-point pen, but it’s all pretty DIY. Without a special machine, I’m not exactly sure how to do it. Sorry! If you do manage to find a way though, definitely let me know! Or, if you have any ideas maybe I can help you out!

Yes, high quality ink can be quite a lot. If you just wanted to print a few pages, I would definitely recommend going to somewhere like Staples!

Ah, then those are Toys R Us promo cards indeed! It’s nothing to worry about, some of these promos seem to be missing a symbol, McDonalds cards specifically. It’s still a promo!

Ah! I used GoDaddy studio to align my artwork with my drawing, and then Phonto to add the fonts! Both are free!

Depends on the place! At my Staples, they charge an "operation fee" (something like that) so I think it was something like $5, and then maybe $1 or so per page. In any case, it's not super expensive! It might be cheaper at your local print shop I would imagine!

Ah! Well, I don't think that REALLY matters... If you wanted, you could just create a canvas using the dimensions of a Pokemon card (above). In Procreate, I usually use one of the default options of "screen size". That's what I used in this video as well. Whatever you are drawing, I think it would just be best to plan it out! Plan out how you want your card to look, what elements of the Pokemon you imagine being where, what you want on the card, what you want maybe popping out. You don't have to plan too much, just think about it. Then sketch it out, and you can overlay a Pokemon card template to make sure that you're on the right track. Not sure if this answers your question, maybe? Let me know, and I will try and clarify! But bottom line, you will always crop your illustration/image into the template anyways, so size doesn't matter nearly as much as planning does!

Hey! So, I actually had mine printed at a print shop as well, Staples to be specific! It's a bix-box store here in Canada, America as well, though I'm not sure where you are. Any print shop would work. I just put my picture on a Google doc, 9 on each page, saved as PDF, and saved that on a memory stick. Then just took it, and had them print it (make sure "actual size" is checked, sometimes the printer will crop). As for the paper, yes! You will need special paper, it's transparency paper or transparent paper. Make sure if you're doing it yourself that you follow the guide!!

Hi! It depends on the card specifically! Although, if it’s simply a holo, not a V or GX card, and not an ultra rare, then it likely won’t be worth too much. I would say $5 at most!

There are websites, and it's definitely an easier method, but I wouldn't say that it's better! I've used them before, and I even made a video in it, but they're quite limited. You can only make certain types of cards, and the website restricts you. When it's custom, you can do WHATEVER you want! Choose your own font, template, energy, artwork, everything. It's all up to you, and as you can see, I think it turns out great!
