Hmm not always. Some of them are valuable-and the ones that are, are REALLY valuable (high demand, low supply)-but not all of them are. The vast majority of vintage holos are around $20 raw, you’d be surprised. Umbreon VMAX from 2021 is currently worth $1400. And there are plenty more modern cards worth several 100-1000. It really just depends on the card itself
