Another great way to use wine bags. For those of you who don’t want to buy a zillion of theses bags at Amazon I just go to my local liquor store and ask to buy 4-5 of them and they have always just given them to me. So it’s an idea😊. I love the tim holtz type ones.

Variety is the spice of life!!! I have to say tho when I have all the stuff out for a project I usually mass make 20-30 of the same item. I don’t fully decorate until I know what its going in. I then move on to another style of ephemera. By the time I need more of something, I’m not bored of it anymore lol

Good morning Gayle from a snowy and cold 10F (feels like -6) Abbotsford, British Columbia. Our road has not bee plowed since it snowed on Monday (15") so I am house bound. What a mess. We are not used to this weather. The forecast is for 45F and rain on Saturday. Loved the wine bag pockets. Not terribly expensive on Amazon ($28) until you have to buy 100...lol. Love your voice and instructions! The reason your bags are different is because you didn't cut off the full bottom of the bag. You just cut the very last 1/4". I can still see the glued bottom part. VERY smart move to check to see if it was going to fit in your journal! As my Dad always said, "measure twice, cut once" :) Beautiful work!

Hi Gayle. I don't know if you'll see this comment but hopefully you will. I wanted to tell you I made one for my Christmas journal using Christmas wrapping paper, a magazine pic of a poinsettia, and 1 strip of scrapbook paper. I also used a pharmacy bag...but then I got to thinking...I can make my own brown bags using the brown paper that comes in Amazon boxes! Thanks for such great inspiration. 😁

Both really. I save a bunch, fold them in half one way to make journal cards and the long way to make tag bases. When I have way to many of those, I pitch them. ❤

I like the 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 size best as it fits so nicely on the page. But I’ve used bigger ones too and just fold them an inch or so down lengthwise and sew them into the signature. ❤
