Thanks for the translation, Nice being able to focus on what you're doing and not reading subtitles at the same time, though to be honest your work and videos are so good I have no problems rewatching if I miss something. I watched a lot of your videos multiple times. Wish I could be your apprentice lol. Lack a lot of tools and forms and dollies for shaping armor so I spend more time on knives and blades. My rounding hammer came from Ukraine, I'm going to try and send a donation soon.

I forgot how much editing you did with this video. You did a great job on this piece. Adore the music too, excellent job there as well. I personally prefer to hear your native tongue and have no issue with subtitles but I hope that the effort you're putting in for dubbing in English yourself garners you a wider audience and thus more patron supporters and some of that sweet, sweet revenue I hear all the kids talk about

Really appreciate the effort you put into this! I am from Belgium, where it is normal to read subtitles and I am more used to it than listening to my own language on tv or in KZbin, but there are many people for whom this can be very distracting and exhausting! However, normally I will keep using the Russian videos, as I like to use them to learn Russian through interesting content. So for me the most important part is that you keep subtitling the Russian ones, so I can maximalise my learning effort, learning interesting new vocabulary in the process.

Hello, another Belgium person! I'm fine with subtitles too but I do appreciate the English audio as I can take my eyes off the screen for a bit and still know what's going on.

Mama Mia! Amazing work!!!😍👏 I have cosplayed as Eredin and have had to make that gauntlet twice! I did it through 3d modeling and 3d printing the pieces in plastic. Had to study gauntlet design to make sense of it all. Great work! This is so helpful in teaching others how armor functions mechanically.

Nice work. Good to see that 4-fingers plate, it's an often-ommited detail in modern-made armor but it really helps with the transition from knuckles to single-finger plates.

(having said that, there are artists out there who do entire videos without words. But I do appreciate the extra explanation, and I guess KZbin algorithm doesn't like showing videos in language A to people who are watching in language B?)

Amazing to see you work! I really love the balance between the humor when you strike a piece of metal once and it become the piece you wanted and when you take to time to show us step-by-step! Would it be strong enough to take a full force battle axe strike on it without damage to the hand?

"Always Add Acid" :) The reason you do this is because diluting acid is an exothermic reaction meaning it releases heat making it boil and/or spurt into your face etc. :) Thanks for some *excellent* content :)

"Always Add Acid", a saying from my aunt that she learned in the early days of the computer industry here in the US. Acid being added to another liquid won't splash itself, but adding another liquid to acid will splash the acid. Simple way to avoid chemical burns on the face and hands.

I had never thought about the possibility of cold forging gauntlets due to the thinness of the material, but that actually makes a lot of sense, I have to wonder if the heterogeneity of the metal that medieval armorsmiths were working with would make this impossible.
