I think this enclosure deserves a proper name, any suggestions for it? 🤔🍄 🐹 Edit: Okay, people voting for "Steve" I like your vibes... That being said I think we need to consider the implications of such a name. For example; "My hamster lives in Steve." "In today's video we're cleaning out Steve!" "Time to put my hamster back inside Steve" "Let's rip Steve apart and use the pieces to build something new" Just something to think about 👀

Ollie?? 🤔 I thought... wait... am I missing anything here? Not trying to be snarky or anything. I truly feel like maybe I missed a personal revelation by the creator of the channel, (trying to respect possible pronoun change), and just want to make sure I address them by the correct name, moving forward, if it has in fact changed. Unless "Ollie" is referring to somebody else?

These all look great! The little path with the wood slices would make a great foraging toy to see if a hamster could use their feet and noses to get seeds from the gaps between the pieces! I honestly have no clue what's going on with the massive mushroom boom but they are just so cute and irresistible 😂

I miss having a hammy.. my lil boy Oakley passed about 2 years ago now... seems crazy... is it really two years? Maybe it was just a year? I can't even think now lol. Anyway he's been gone and I miss his hairy little butt. We moved in October... bigger house over-all but smaller rooms/spaces... no space whatsoever for a hamster enclosure of proper size. I've been so bummed about it. Maybe I'll figure something out one day... I am determined enough (cough STUBBORN cough) lol.... we'll see. Anyway... looks great, Ollie!

OMG! Everything is so adorable!!! 😍 I especially like the club house and the well! ❤ What colors are you using? I always have limitations painting stuff because I don't know any safe color brands. Please share with meee! 😭
@SomethingAnimal6 ай бұрын
Tempera paint is my go-to for anything that has the potential to be chewed on, I don't worry about brand names I just get the most affordable one I can find. Tempera is pet safe but is often made from eggs so keep that in mind if you have egg allergies! Non-toxic acrylic is good to use on hard-to-chew places like shelves, walls, walkways, etc. Food colouring is another safe option. A good money saving tip is to only buy white, black, red, blue, and yellow paints. As long as you have those 5 colours you can mix them into any colour or shade that you need :)

Hi! Loved your video. I was wondering.... What is the name of the tool you are using to cut the lolly sticks? @ 4:04
@SomethingAnimal5 ай бұрын
It has a few different names depending on location, wire-cutting pliers, nipping pliers, staple pulling pliers - but any kind of large wire cutter will do the job. Just make sure you use a dedicated pair as cutting wood dulls the blade and makes them useless for cutting actual wire!
