Thank you for providing this video. I am trying to rent a frozen drink machine to make Frose, but the vendor has emphasized he cannot guarantee it will work with their machine and said, I can certainly try other mixes/recipes, but warned me I'll be responsible for any damage to the machine. Should I be concerned? if I follow your recipe above, I can't imagine how it would damage the machine. Do you have any additional suggestions?

Hello Nicole, Froze or any frozen drink for that matter needs to have the correct balance to create a good slush consistency without freezing up. I think the people you spoke to are concerned damage could result if the product freezes solid. Please call Evan 775-338-3545 from Slices Concession he can give you more information on making froze with our machines. Did you ever check the Brix level on the mix before adding it to the machine? I hear it's very important checking the Brix level of your mix before adding it into the machine. If the Brix level is too low, your product won't freeze. If the Brix level is too high, the product can over freeze and damage the machine. I have a Crathco 3311 and this is what I was told to do by the manufacturer. I was told to use a refractometer and stay in between 11 and 14 on the measurements.
