Learned a lot on suspension settings & mods on sports cars here. Besides engine I think suspension is one of the most interesting topics about cars ! Thx Joe keep them coming please.

I've done the KW sleeved coilovers on my car with spacers for the wheels. The look is amazing but the handling with their setup and the factory dampers is an amazing mix of handling and comfort. It can be totally aggressive in my M2 setting or docile cruiser in my M1 setting. Throw in my JB4 with a splash of E85, she performs so very well for me. Kudos on the upgrades

Really wish he would have posted a screenshot of his alignment settings before and after. It's very hard to find a shop that actually has track experience and can set up your car for it.

It’s so good seeing Dravit on the screen. I love seeing another car in Dravit captured on video. Good looking steering wheel. And in the US, we call it a “centering stripe” I’m going with 1830kg. Edit: 3,924 pounds, actual. Which is a Sherman tank. Are you doing a video on costs associated with the run in service? It’s complementary in the US. As is 3/36k services.

The 320D xdrive hire car I had last week was terrible in a straight line. Had to correct the steering every few seconds on the motorway. Definitely needed a full suspension setup...!

Explain something to me: If 4WD Sport = 70 rear 30 front, I don't understand when you say that it routes all the power to the rear until it starts to slip. Are you saying that when it senses slip, it will route up to 30% to the front? But wouldn't there be situations where it would need to route 100% to the front?

I just had a thought. I think it would be very interesting to see how a standard M3 Competition xDrive would compare to GRIILEZ here in a @carwow style drag race, roll race and (most interesting for me considering the upgrades received in this video) a brake test. I think it would also be very interesting to see how they would compare on track, so maybe when you have the time, something like that could be arranged🤷🏾♂. And thanks for the great video.

Thanks for another great video, Joe. Love the suspension stuff, so vast! And yes... the notorious BMW fidgety tramlining thing. My E61 is like a go cart on corners now, quite amazing for what it is... but on a straight road with undulations it's quite hard work. Anyone reading this, advice would be appreciated (probably hard without knowing my setup).

Hi Joe, If you had a choice between PFL rs3 and FL… What would you choose? The PFL sound is 10/10 But the FL has the good tech but the sound isn’t as good as the PFL…

I’m literally watching the video as I’m writing this it just seems like everything this young man is talking about is fear, fear, fear if you don’t get this this will happen only 2% of the people in the world could drive that car to its limit ,the rest of us we’re just along for the ride .if he wasn’t selling stuff he’d be working at McDonald’s You don’t need 99% of what he’s selling just a good alignment and a good set ,tires oh yeah and some balls to drive the car.

This comment definitely wins for us 🥇 Get in touch with the team to claim your free Big Mac and Fries 🍟 oops sorry old habits die hard! Just for clarity you sign off this comment with “all you need is a good alignment and a good set of tyres” which is exactly what takes place in this video …. 🤷♂️ what we are discussing is the different geometry settings and how they affect handling and grip levels for the better 👍
@karlmckeown31112 жыл бұрын
All you need is good alignment, which is what happens in the video? I think you need to go check suspension secrets out. Or have a phone call with them. They are THE authority on suspension set ups. I’m not sure why MacDonald’s would need that? I’d hold the Big Mac, this kid probably still on happy meals.

Unusually this is a poor video, I don’t believe for a moment Ferrari etc mis out on performance that a small company such as this manage to ‘unlock’ a case of the emperors new clothes I fear.
@JoeAchilles12 жыл бұрын
You don't have to believe it, I'm guessing you've never driven a factory fresh Ferrari, they naturally understeer to protect their (mostly useless) owners.
@countduckula0072 жыл бұрын
@@JoeAchilles1 Perhaps however I have driven a number of factory fresh Ferrari’s a number of them as a guest on factory visits/launch events. Outside of this I’ve spent time with a number of development drivers and they too appear to think much of the aftermarket companies exist to simply remove money from people’s wallets. Maybe this company is different. The F12 never felt like it was set up for safety
