I can see why one would have a bad hair day when it's 105. It's hit 100 here in the mid-west. We also get the humidity to go along with it so your hair will just droop. TT is shaping up!!

Kudos for working in that heat. I live in the desert in South Australia and the last thing I would do when it’s 104 degrees is work in a hot garage. But then I’m old, and lazy, and prefer to watch others do it on KZbin. 😎

Thumbs up Sarah. New side skirts look great, and so do those Fat Five wheels in their natural clear coated polished finish. I know you say they have curb rash and salt damage, but think they could come out as nice as new with a refurbishing.

Do you ever get used to the heat in the summer? In Alberta in the winter we get used to the cold so by the end of , say, February - 10c is not to bad. But in the fall when we are used to nice warm weather -1c is freezing.
@texastriguy
@texastriguy 6 жыл бұрын
boofighter I'm in Houston and it is FAR worse here. Tuscon is fairly dry. Here we get 100-105F (up to maybe 43C?). But it can be 90+% humidity in the middle of the day, and so humid at night and in the morning that water literally condenses on the hair on your skin. It makes Tuscon feel comfy. Out there Sarah is suffering dehydration - which is almost as bad...but IMHO the humidity feels harsher.

Good choice on replacing the side skirt screws. For the door dents, have you thought about heatgun and freeze spray? Might be hot enough in the Sun to just hit it with the freeze spray to make the metal contract and pull the dent out. Worth a try on the next 100+ day. Get canned air and tip the can upside down so it sprays liquid. Might want to wear some gloves because they put a bitter substance in it to try and keep people from huffing it. If you accidentally get that it your mouth it's bad and the taste stays a long time!
