check all the wheel boxes, usually u get hub centering rings and wheel bolts included in one of the boxes.

There is a small plastic shaft in the tool kit that has threads on it. You screw it into the lug bolt threads and it makes it super easy to get the tire on and get the other lug bolts in. If you don't have one, next time you go to the pick and pull, look at any of the VW trunks for one.

FYI: fuel lines can't suck in air past the in tank fuel pump because they're pressurized, so they just leak. Definitely worth checking The fuel pressure though. I'd chase down those trouble codes first. I doubt the hiccups are fuel related.

Hi Sarah, great reveal. In case you need the centering rings from TSW, their website does not list this wheel for the 8N-TT, but for the Mk4 Golf instead. Might help finding the correct parts. The 3mm more offset will give you additional stability under hard braking. Possible tyres are 225/35-18 or 225/40-18, both XL for the required >90 load rating. The 225/35 would shorten your overall gearing by 3%

Careful with the lug bolts. Audi uses a "cup" ( U shape) shape washer under the hex head ; aftermarket wheels are usually "cone" ( V shape)style under the hex portion. Just wanted you to be aware. Look into the wheel lug space and evaluate from there.

Roof color. Cars look so cool when designed using 3 colors. Like using a main color, a accent color along with a accent color. Like, for example a silver card with black gloss top and red (for the hot rod look), orange, blue, etc. pinstripes, some designers even use the contrasting color for pinstripes on the wheels. Just throwing it out there. Also, do you have a storage building for the amount of mail you get? Lol, I've wondered if you have a back yard full of "Pods" like from the commercials.

Once it's on the ground the fitment will be completely different. The standard 18x8 wheels that came on the TT were et33 and you need to add at least a 15mm spacer in the front and a 20mm in the rear to get anywhere near the fitment you were after. That's staying with a squared tyre too, R18/225/40 is the standard size

Good to see a UK plate featured on you channel. Just checked up and it came off a 2007 Porsche Cayman which is still on the road. That's a rear plate. Front plates have a white background.

Parknest I’m glad she’s still on the road - was my car but sold in 2012 and wish I hadn’t! 😢That plate came with the car but I had the dealer replace it with one with EU logos as we headed to Germany and Switzerland every summer to hit the Alpine passes!

Wet sand the top and buff and you can wrap it without it looking crappy no matter the color. That being said I would go with the gunmetal. Love the channel

I think a gloss black roof and rear glass surround with your wrap color would look great. I've had a few come in with the pillars and roof line blacked out too, which is an interesting look. Pilot SS are a great choice for some fun on the road and at the track! The priciest part of moving to CA would be having to put the cats back on your cars!

I use a Schawben wheel hanger when changing/working on my wheels on my GTI. Look it up. Super convenient. ECS sells them.

I got my Audi B6 roof wrapped gloss black and it looks the same way with the orange peel. It's just the way most gloss wraps look like. But I would say spray it gloss black.

Two quick things, i got a set of tsw wheels for my 20th AE, I had to buy a different set of wheel bolts, there are conical and ball seat lugs, i believe that the Nuremberg wheels i got took conical wheel bolts so be sure to get a set of those instead of the ball seat. Also the hub ring on the tsw is 72mm and the vw hub is 52.6 i believe so i figure audi will be similar.
