Being a successful man means, you need to make good choices to achieve that success. Making money, and getting women doesn't happen by accident, it's work, and boils down to better choices.

Hey Rich I def got A LOT of golden nuggets of wisdom from this video and unfortunately I’m on of those men who chased females in my early to late teens into my early 20’s 😳😬 I became a young father at the age of 23 and I didn’t have any idea how I was going to provide for this human being that is my son let alone I brought another son into the world by the time I was 25 😵 I guess you can say I was def making the wrong decisions without the proper guidance and support to be a father and husband. Fast forward 13 years later I’m FINALLY making a financial comeback and I’m MORE THAN DETERMINED to keep it this way and build more on top of what I’ve done these past couple of years of financial planning and actions thank you for your knowledge of being a REAL MAN

I am 41 yrs old, software engineer earning £74k plus 5k bonus which is top 5% earning in the uk, similar to say a member of parliament without the expenses..no previous marriage or kids. Saving for first time property but that might take another year, a little over fat, never been particularly fit.. not bad looking at all, still got hair. Not as confident as some, need work in that area and don't do well with women unless they are single parent types, game isn't good enough. It feels to me like confidence and looks/fitness > career and salary.

When men think like women, they become "victims of life". Don't surrender your life to chance. Envision broad goals, formulate a plan, and execute. Shit will go wrong. When something goes wrong, evaluate and course correct. If you allow life to "just happen", don't be surprised when you end-up somewhere you didn't want to go. Good stuff, Cooper. You need to repost this video every couple of months as a reminder for the guys who are slow learners.

I'm 19. I study engineering, do bodybuilding, NoFap, read a lot, play drums, basketball (pretty good at that) and I have a large family, and a large tribe of great men chasing excellence. I'll get into combat sports in 3-4 years when I'm ripped (I'm 6'3 but still athletic). I live with my parents, which is the rule in Spain because of the socialist economy and high cost of living. I cold approach girls every day as part of my daily life. I've improved as a man a lot because cold approach gives you that abundance mindset that Rich always talks about. Men's problems with women are foreign to me. It's all about money and mindset now.

@@AlienGrade Maybe I'm missing the spirit and intent of your message, because some of your points IMHO miss what Christ taught ( if you are alluding to Catholic/Christian teachings ). It would seem that He would absolutely affirm "being an engineer" and to treat one's body as a Temple of the Spirit ( which could very well be pleasing to God being a bodybuilder ). Having grown up in the church, gone on to formal studies, and know the spiritual language and teachings fairly well, everyone must wrestle with the demon of absolutist dogma, i.e. This principle absolutely is applied as thus-and-thus. Agreed, Ego does seem to be one thing the speaker here must contend with, but he is teaching principles that are very biblical: personal responsibility; pro-active embrace of change/work towards growth and maturation; not bowing to the Idol of Woman. These are VERY GOOD and VITAL things every Catholic/Christian must embrace continually throughout life in their Path of Salvation. If you mean that "falling in love" with Excellence is akin to idolatry, a kind of distraction of Self away from God, then I am with you. Otherwise, holding tight to the Value of Excellence, in its various forms and definitions that one embraces for oneself, as acts of worship as well, is strong and masculine. ( I'm not intending to preach at you, either. We probably agree in many ways while here maybe some differences prompted me to chime in a bit to add to the thread. )

I can study as much as I want to but I also believe there is also practicing. This is not for the sake of chasing women but for knowing when to pull away from a relationship in advance. A case could be when working with a female in the workplace and running methods of communication to make sure you don't get hit by me2.

You present yourself as a man who is bitter, and that's so unattractive Also, presenting an "expensive" car into your video is a red flag, for a genuine woman. And using terms like "crazy woman" is a turn off. I think you are sabotaging your valid message by presenting yourself as a man who has been burned by a woman. Dear Mr. Cooper, I don't think it's a simple matter of making independent choices when it comes to a young son/daughter asking permission for anything from his Parents. We(as boys) naturally seek the approval of our Fathers. Your blessing of your son's request with an affirmative response for water is feeding his need to know that he's starting to make good choices on his own behalf even independent of what you might think.(that's called confidence building). Hearing you tell him "no" to a request for a soda or "pop" after working up a healthy sweat from gardening/mowing the lawn with you or playing outside is telling him(even unconsciously) you are looking to him to make an even better choice because you want the best for him/his health (long-term).

Dear Mr Cooper, et al, Have you been advocating for the idea of the importance of Men owning their own locus of control so they don't have to feel like it's necessary to seek permission from people like you in the manosphere? I was always looking for my Father's blessing/approval until one day after leaving my folks home it occurred to me(epiphany) what if his own Father didn't have the verbal skills to pass down his(my Father's) blessing? My Father was an extremely hard-working Bethlehem Steel worker doing the best he knew how to salve the wounds from his own family of origin dysfunction while supporting himself, a wife, me and my brothers. Overall, he did a great job. I was never cold, tired, hungry or in physical pain for very long as a child. That's probably the day I really began to let go and started living a more independent life.

I sincerely doubt that Owning your own Locus of Control is an overnight proposition. Owning your own locus of control is a very, very worthwhile endeavour. So, by definition, it's going to take a commeserate amount of time to achieve. But, once you do Own Your Own Locus of Control you have a sense of an increased level of confidence and trust in your own best judgement. It was/is a huge relief when you realize you don't have to consult with some other authority figure(s) before taking an action you deem necessary, good and in your own best interest. And, if after taking said action you deem the results as anything less than satisfactory since you know exactly what you did, chances are you also have a much better idea of how and how much to tweek your actions next time to achieve more closely the results you want.

I live in the UK and they shut gyms in late March due to Covid and only reopened them on Saturday. I have put on about 3 stone during this time due to givng up on diet due to no gyms and my resentmebt of the government for closing them when i was in the best shape of my life. But I'm back in the gym now they're open. By Christmas I'll be back to where I was pre-covid. Sometimes we take liver punches in our fitness goals, but we must push through the lows and climb back.

@@BuffaloBilly69 Thanks. I'm only about 5 foot 9 so weight gain shows a lot more 9n me unfortunately. Lockdown definitely halted some people's fitness goals but will have also highlighted to others the importance of being In shape. So I imagine people will start self improving their bodies a lot more going forwards. Or at least for a few weeks and then lose the motivation.

Not to be pedantic, but asking first was good behaviour from your friend's kid. Obviously it's not practical to make your kid ask every time they need food or drink, but you don't want them feeling entitled to anything either.

Yeah I agree. It's basic politeness to not go around someone else's home grabbing stuff you want. In fact I consider it extremely rude when I invite a guest over and the guest just grabs something to drink without asking me. Obviously a kid can just grab a glass of water in his parents place, but should he also be allowed to grab soda or some other sugar rich junk juice whenever he wants? Not if you ask me.

Love this. I do have to say though that by observation over 50+ years, critical thinking skills are not held by everyone, sadly. Making good choices comes easy to some (myself included) but doesn't come easy to many. I am not sure how to teach good judgment, though I keep thinking about it.
@raularmas317
@raularmas317 2 жыл бұрын
I think good judgement starts with trust in one's own ability to say an assertive "no" to the things a person knows to be damaging to themselves or others in the long-term. For that you need a strong moral compass and an internalized locus of control. The rest is about reflection and refinement of subsequent choices.

My biggest issue is money, very good lookin guy, confident as long as finances isn’t part of the conversation. I’m working on it now, we all got our issues, yeah some dudes aren’t ugly or have plenty of confidence, but they have financial issues that effects their confidence. Everybody from every group has something they need too work on, so don’t get comfy and stay committed too your goals and success and confidence will eventually follow.
