@Stevo sorry to hear. I would say work on your Self-concept. At its most basic, self-concept is a collection of beliefs one holds about oneself and the responses of others. This can be done by becoming aware of thoughts and beliefs, challenge negative thinking, adjust your thoughts and beliefs ( replace negative or untrue thoughts with positive, accurate thoughts). These small steps will help to change the outcome for you. Some people use affirmations 3-5 times a day to tune up their self-concept. Go get it make it happen captain!

I already have “semi” excellence. I have a great fiance career. I have bodybuilt for over half my life (I’m 41). I own a house. I have a sweet ride. I have plenty of $ in savings and retirement. I am a happy go lucky guy. I get along with almost everyone. I make EVERYONE laugh. I have the utmost confidence in who I am as a person. But I have been shit on by women in every ugly way imaginable. Most of them are ugly souls, but even the one good soul, who I was head over heels for, did anything for, broke my heart so badly I don’t want to try again.

What can tell you is, if you had it in you to get into an IvyL and make a success of it, you still have it in you to bounce back. For me it was starting with my playlist from when I was busy with my IvyL MBA(I transitioned from completing post-grad physics). Daily, I told myself if I could do it before, it's within me to do it again! And I did. That same ex now wants to "retry", but I'm not the same man she left. So, bro, sit down and seriously get into your mind, feel what it was like when you passed that GMAT and the acceptance letter, everything that happened during that period, the 2 hour nights, etc. It's inherent within you and you can resuscitate it. Just start!

Then I heard possible financial issues and read his wife posted things online stating her love for him. Boss had a four million dollar home. There was Chris Cornell from Soundgarden and Audioslave, God rest his soul. His wife professes her love for Chris as well. I remember Chris's home being on the market for 10 million. Maybe the wives were indeed devoted and loving to their husbands, however it's obvious that whatever love existed wasn't enough to keep them from killing themselves. For whatever the reason for suicide, it doesn't change the fact that being in love and or being in a relationship isn't a cure all. Those two aside, while love can feel good, it can also cause anxiety and smart to keep your emotions under control until you know who you are dealing with. And even when sure, always be prepared for betrayal. Have an escape plan that will preserve your mental well being regardless of what your angel, suddenly turned trashy woman might do at any moment with or without warning.

My problem is, I do not trust the universe to just give me what I want ... While I am chasing greatness. Even when my goals are achieved, my greatness manifested, I will not get the women I want. I am 51. Single. Chasing greatness and totally supressing my desire for hot women. Am I attracting hot women? No. Women I prefer are in their 20s and 30s. I am getting too old for them, while I chase greatness the years pass by. My greatness is maybe Not Getting the women I want, in spite of my achieved greatness. Who knows.
