Yes you paid 10.00 for the table but you made it into a 200.00 table. I have been a woodworker/furniture builder for 40 plus and I think you did a great job. When I get beveled edges like you had I will take bondo and create a stone edge all the way around it. You can either paint the bondo or do the exotic pour over it and then dap the epoxy onto the bondo with a paint brush to fill in the voids. Good job 👍

The spots you see on the blue is the epoxy separating from the wax. Epoxy won't permanently adhear to wax. I would have loved this the way it was with the crayons in chunks and it encapsulated in clear epoxy!! The faux woodgrain was ON POINT! You are always so wonderfully detailed which is my favorite part about watching you!!

@@DuncanCustomAirbrush I kind of liked the shimmer of the flakes. also i think I can narrow it down to the waxy adhesive they use to keep the crayon sleeves attached. unfortunately shaving every piece is not realistic with so many crayons. take the sleeve off and try to slide the crayon on its broadside. it's a very thin layer but it's there 🙃. not that I play with crayons a lot lol

I'd like to see you take one more stab at this sorta thing with the crayons. You almost had it, and it would've been killer. Could melting the crayons seperately, then pouring them in be an option? Maybe try it again, but not a "river table." Like, maybe something more geometric, without the wood grain look on the edge pieces. But whatever, you were on the right track with those crayons, just one more try might bring something together.

it's all part of the artistic process lol. and if you have an idea, do it before you talk yourself out of it. some of those ideas will happen at the same time and boom you end up with a reversable tabletop. also i think the idea was that you would be able to see the rainbow through the top layer. but it still looks great.

I just saw a vid from your channel for the first time. I'm currently watching the 3rd in a row so in my opinion you're doing a bunch right because, like you, I'm easily distracted unless something grabs my attention. You know as well as me, we aren't really making the decisions on what's interesting. Maybe you don't. Doesn't matter. I came to the comment section. To compliment you on your videos. (I just realized there's no checkmark on my keyboard WTF?!) So.... CHECK. And B is a question. Are you related to a youtuber/penetration tester that goes by "Deviant Ollom"? If I had to guess, I'm thinking you could be his younger brother or cousin. There are other similarities aside from appearance that helped motivate me to ask. If there's no relation, go check out his videos and tell me if I'm way off if you don't see any resemblance. I'm curious to see your reaction. I'm going to subscribe (which I rarely do) because I've recently been getting the urge to paint stuff again. In having fun but I want more skyllz. Anyway, good sh!t, brother! -HoboFoshitsho
