I loved my 5” straight pipe too but with the towing I couldn’t do the drone anymore. So I went with the 30x5 resonator/muffler and love it!! Sounds great

Sounds like Moby is losing prime in the trans causing delayed engagement. Put the trans in neutral for a few to refill the cooler circuit. The cure is changing the filters...

Aeroturbine xl is about the best sounding highest flow stainless steel muffler available. Also lowers egts, due to the design. Found this by experience.

Whats the best way to put a tune in 2016 3500 all stock. Trying to eliminate that annoying lag when accelerating and get a few more mpg on highway. I want to stay as quiet and stink free as possible. Love the sound and non smell of stock truck.

That is quieter, tone seems to have lost the low frequencies. My own plan is to take off the 304SS MBPR quiet tone I have and replace with a Walker 54637 SS muffler, then put the MBPR quiet tone in front of that. Yes, all my pipes are u bolt, and the cat a PO deleted. But they don't look too rusty. Maybe I can use a torch and hammer and get them apart. Where did you get the band clamps, it looks like one side is expanded? I have seen band clamps and they are good, all the ones I have seen the same on both ends. A bancd clamp could hold it all together, if I have to cut it all apart. Or I could get a new tailpipe walker 55484

Do you have tunes in your truck deleting the weird pre Injection? My 2012 mega with a 5 in does not sound nearly as good as yours!

Just cause you have new injectors doesn't mean that a small piece of dirt did not get stuck in it when assembling.

You can buy rodent electrical tape on online (Honda makes a good one) that they won’t chew on.
